She discovers that he has also vandalized the church-the little Nativity figures lie scattered on the floor and the collection box is empty. The old woman restores order and sets off exhausted towards her caravan. But before long she collapses in the snow. And now the magic begins. Right before Christmas her boyfriend Andrew asks her to look after his daughter Lucy while he is away on a business trip. The fireworks between the daughter and possible future mother make a story in itself. Then the enigmatic Sam comes on the scene, as delightfully played by Muse Watson.
