My Read-A-Thon-Pile

Photobucket

The Well: David's Story by Mildred Taylor (96 pages)

The Little Princess by Frances Hodgson Burnett (182 Pages) Reading on Kindle

The Time Machine by H.G. Wells (~144 Pages) Reading on Kindle

Cut by Patricia McCormick (160 Pages)

No Plot, No Problem by Chris Baty (176 Pages)
Just in time for Nano-need to re-read, it's been a few years.

Crossing Over: One Woman's Escape from Amish Life by Ruth Irene Garrett (208 pages)
Thanks to It's Just Me Wendy for bringing this to my attention. It is in the library waiting for me, so I'll have it in time for the 24th.

Night Flight by Antoine de Saint-Exupery (96 Pages)
Was going to wait to read for this, but have already read it, so I'm removing it from the list. It was a long train ride this morning!!

I am sure this list will grow by October 24th. As of now, these are the only ones I could think of. I'll have to raid my TBR pile and my son's bookshelf.

Hi, thanks for commenting on my blog!
"Crossing Over" is suppose to be really good. I have owned the book for a while now but I have been saving it, LOL. So I am excited to get to read it.

I have never heard of "Night Flight" by Antoine de Saint-Exupery, I love "The Little Prince" it is one of my favorite books! Thanks, I will have to look that one up.

I just ordered it from my library! So I guess I will be reading it too.

Wendy, I put "Crossing Over" on my list, maybe I'll get it next week from the library, there is no wait in the queue. I also read "Night Flight" this morning on my way to work. It was in my bag and I had just finished my other book, so I went ahead and read it. I liked it, very different from "Prince" because this is more of an adult book, but I like his stuff. He has anothe book I'm waiting on called "Flight to Arras".

I think it is great that we can go and check out other peoples lists, I am getting lots of great ideas! I do hope you get Crossing Over in time, it will be cool to be reading it at the same time. I will be checking out your blog during RAT. I'll be posting about every two hrs. This is my first one! Have you done it before?

LOL - you know how you have to type the "word verification" below, I have facking, hahaha it sounds like you are swearing with an accent!

I want to read The Time Machine!

I've already read one of the books off my Read-a-thon list, too. Hey, reading is reading, right?
